Overview

$18,000 Bonus; $3,000 paid out monthly for 6 months after 30 days of employment.  To receive bonus, must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Interventional Radiology.

Position Summary:

Performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, angiographic, and computerized tomographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  Uses independent judgment to accomplish the efficient completion of prescribed radiologic procedures utilizing good patient care and proper radiation protection standards. Processes films and assures correct film and file documentation.  Records information related to exams into department computer. Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospital’s policies and procedures.

  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
  • Performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, angiographic, and computerized tomographic procedures
  • Completes  prescribed radiologic procedures utilizing good patient care and proper radiation protection standards
  • Processes films and assures correct film and file documentation
  • Records information related to exams into department computer.
  • Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospital’s policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advance radiologic procedures and/or possess capabilities to perform these procedures; or may consider recent graduate, within the past two years, from a Radiology Technology program, required.

Licenses:

  • Must obtain within one year of employment:  CRT, (Calif. Radiologic Technology certificate), California Fluoroscopy permit, ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registry (R).

Certifications:

  • Current BLS certification, required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.

 

Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work. 

 

*Salary/Hourly wage range for this position is posted.  Actual pay will be determined based on verified experience as well as internal equity.
