Position Summary:
This position will work with the practice patients, MRI Technologists, clinical teams, referral coordinators and SKI’s contract person on accurately scheduling the patients for their MRI exam. The X-ray Technician retrieves all MRI orders through SRS imaging pool, enters basic demographics and sends messages to the Medical Assistants on the patient’s appointment date and time through SRS messaging. The X-ray Technician will meet or beat the expected scheduling goals. As a licensed X-ray Tech, doing coverage, you will be responsible for facilitating patient flow through the x-ray department of facility in a professional manner, and for initiating and completing diagnostic exams and paperwork as prescribed by the physician. The X-Ray Technician will exceed the expectations of every patient by treating them with the utmost care, compassion and respect. To secure a standard of service that allows the patient’s experience to be extraordinary. The position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Tri-City Medical Center.
