Overview

Position Summary:

 

Performs EEG recordings and limited evoked potentials. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students, and volunteers, as appropriate.

 

 

Safety and Infection Control Responsibilities

Responsible to maintain a safe and clean work environment, including unit based specific safety and infection control requirements.

 

Qualifications: ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, & EXPERIENCE

  • Three or more years work experience as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician preferred

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Actively pursuing educational program for neurodiagnostic technology

Certifications:

  • Current BLS certification, required
  • Current American Board of Registered Electroneurodiagnostic Technicians (ABRET) registration, preferred
