    Position Summary:


    The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who performs patient assessment, develops, implements and evaluates effectiveness of an interdisciplinary plan of care for patient populations with various diagnoses. Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution.


    RN – New Grad  

    The RN New Grad Training Program using Blended Learning:

    • Didactic Training in classroom
    • Clinical experiences 1:1 with a preceptor 

    Our core program covers a variety of topics designed to assist with your transition to nursing – patient assessment, caring for specific patient populations, nursing procedures, professionalism, conflict and stress management, skills labs, and more. Clinical experiences with a preceptor will provide the opportunity to apply core nursing knowledge into clinical practice and demonstrate your nursing skills.   



    • Current California registered nurse (RN) license, required.
    • BSN preferred; ADN required
    • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Certified Healthcare Provider required by program start date


    Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
