In order to achieve our mission, we see, hear and listen to our front line healthcare workers, employees, medical staff and all community stakeholders in order to understand and meet our community’s needs.   Position Summary: Performs diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, angiographic, and computerized tomographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.  Uses independent judgment to accomplish the efficient completion of prescribed radiologic procedures utilizing good patient care and proper radiation protection standards.  Processes films and assures correct film and file documentation.  Records information related to exams into department computer. Provides services in a manner consistent with the hospital’s policies and procedures. Responsible for the coordination of Interventional Radiology supply chain including inventory maintenance, vendor relations, cost containment, and tracking via software applications.  Assists Interventional Radiologist or other physicians in performance of minimally invasive and invasive fluoroscopic guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.  Acts as a lead or mentor for other Techs.   Major Position Responsibilities: The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. Education:  - Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required. Licenses: - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registry, required. Certifications: - CRT, (Calif. Assists in medical procedures and may perform independent nursing procedures with appropriate orientation and supervision.
