Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution.   Major Position Responsibilities: The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. Qualifications: - Qualifications RN Experience: - Minimum one (1) year experience within a community and/or regional level 3 NICU, or completion of a formal Perinatal residency or externship training program, required. - Two years' experience within a community and/or regional level 3 NICU, preferred. - Work experience within the last 18 months in a community and/or regional level 3 NICU, preferred. - Qualifications RN Transitional Experience: - One year of full-time experience in an acute care hospital (all departments; with exception to Surgery). Surgery department would consider one-year full-time experience in a surgery center. Licenses: - Current California RN License, required.  Certifications: - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (healthcare provider), required. - Current NRP, required. Qualifications: - At least one year experience as a staff nurse in an acute hospital, SNF, or home care setting required (Home care only). - At least one year recent Medicare certified home health experience, preferred (Home care only). - Wound vacs, PICC care, IV Therapy, preferred (Home care) Licenses: - Current California Nursing License, required.                                - Current driver’s license and current automobile insurance, required (Home care only). Certifications: - Current BLS required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
