Together we are helping tackle some of our communities’ pressing health and social needs.     Position Summary: Performs scheduling duties which includes scheduling appointments for exams, gives appropriate prep instructions, directions as to where patient needs to arrive for exam, answers all phone calls in courteous and efficient manner, obtains all appropriate patient information required for exam. Operates the fluoroscopy equipment in a manner that provides the highest quality image for the cardiologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization. Responsibilities include appropriate billing for each procedure. Assists the Cardiologist in a scrub assistant role for all types of catheterization procedures. May consider recent graduate, within past 2 years, from a Radiology Technology program or licensed Radiation Technologist with five (5) years recent experience working as a Radiation Technologist. Qualifications: - Minimum of one year experience in acute care respiratory therapy, preferred. - Experience in Bronchoscopy resourcing, preferred. - Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience, desired. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Good organizational skills. Education:  - Graduate of an accredited school of Respiratory Care, required. Licenses: - Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license, required.
